Does your lifestyle include very less or no exercise? Do your keep a check on your fast foods intake and the total trans-fat that goes along with it inside your system?
If your answer is no then let me ask you one more question. Do you want to know the secret to keep your heart healthy and quit your unhealthy habits? If your answer is yes, then let’s move forward because I will let you know 3 simple exercise types that will help you reduce your bad cholesterol level and boost your heart health right from the first few days. Plus, there is a bonus tip at the end, so keep reading till the end.
So, the first and foremost tip from me before I start talking about the exercise regimes is that I want to say this- “Dear you have only 24 hours in a day, and you have to make time for yourself. So, if you want to keep your body, mind and especially the heart-healthy, you got to wake up early or find time for yourself somehow.”
Exercise number 1:
Aerobic exercises: Running, cycling and jogging are good examples of aerobic exercise. However, it is difficult to do them these days because of the Lockdown. Instead, you can try other aerobic exercises like one spot jogging, skipping, and on spot running. These exercises will help quickly elevate your heart rate and make you breathe harder. However, if you feel any discomfort like, difficulty breathing, speaking or dizziness, try lower-intensity workouts.
Exercise number 2:
Stretching: I recommend stretching before and after doing aerobic exercise or any other high-intensity workouts. It will help your muscles to contract and will help you get rid of the pain in your body. Keep in mind to not stretch with too much pressure; do stretching exercises gently, you should not feel any pain due to it.
Exercise number 3:
Strength training: Until the time you are at home try lifting various heavy things in your home such as a packet of four, plant pot, etc. you could even use a bottle filled with water as dumbbells.
Now it’s time for the bonus tip. The bonus tip is to EAT RIGHT! Exercise alone rarely makes any difference to the health if you are not consuming the food right. Quit foods with trans-fat, and saturated fat; mainly found in fried foods and processed foods such as chips and Kurkure. Also, lower the intake of sugar and salt along with a high intake of Omega-3 rich food items and unsaturated fats should include your daily diet.
Your heart is a muscle, like any other muscle in your body. Therefore, it gets stronger and healthier with the time and effort you spend on it. Moreover, exercising each day helps you with: burning those pesky, body fats, reduce good cholesterol and increase good cholesterol. Also, you don’t have to be an athlete, merely 30 minutes of exercise per day is more than enough to keep your heart healthy and happy.
